8/26: First day of class. We went over the syllabus, attempted to make and watch digital video introductions. These will be uploaded to YouTube! We also read a piece titled, Eight Traits of the New Media Landscape, by Henry Jenkins. (The pdf is on WebCT and on the class blog under "Who we are Reading.")

8) Unequal: This is in reference to people not have the same access to technology. Factors such as economics, class, location and education all contribute to people to have the equal opportunity with technology or its access.
